ANGELA & MATTHEW {TORONTO BRICKWORKS ENGAGEMENT}

Angela & Matt are one of a kind people…so in love and so wonderful to be around.
They had many inspiring ideas for their images that we decided to split their engagement shoot up into two separate days.
The first part of their Engagement session was shot entirely at the Evergreen Brickworks in Toronto. This venue is one of the finest in Toronto and is versatile in its esthetic. It offers both natural landscapes with rolling fields, bridges and ponds, as well as the rustic, grungy indoor venue we are all accustomed to seeing. If you are ever  looking for an indoor backup option for your weddings, this place is a good bet.
It was a rainy day out, so we kept the majority of the shoot inside and really took advantage of all the incredible backdrops and natural pockets of light.
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their first engagement shoot!!

P.S. Doesn’t Angela look like Eva Longoria?? Way to go Matt!

CHRISTINA & PETER {HART HOUSE WEDDING}

Here is a quick teaser from an amazing couple we shot earlier this summer at Hart House (University of Toronto).

more to come soon…

Suzanne & Aman (Vegas Engagement Shoot)

[ So, here we are. Finally back at it. It has been a long time since I have blogged and even though I have come back to it from time to time, it has been regrettably to long.
As any wedding photographer will tell you, July is a month like no other but I will again try to be consistent with my posts and keep my amazingly patient and understanding brides happy. This time I really mean it!....;) ]

In celebration of this insane weather we are having, let us start the first post back with a scorcher!

Suzanne and Aman in LAS VEGAS!

What a couple! Two beautifully unique people with a passion for life.
When I first met these two, the connection we had was unmistakable and I instantly knew we would be great friends. We got along so well that we thought an engagement session together in Las Vegas would be the only way to do them justice. How awesome is that? We weren’t limited by time and we could shoot until exhaustion. Las Vegas had other plans for us though…109 degree weather!!
Even with the intense heat, Las Vegas is a playground for photography. The endless supply of themed hotels like New york-New york, Paris, The Luxur, Bellagio and the Venetian keeps your creative juices flowing! Not to mention some of the most beautiful uber-swanky hotels and casinos like Aria and the Cosmopolitan.
With all of the possibilities, I was itching to get started as soon as we landed!
We met up at after dinner at their ultra-chic hotel, The Cosmopolitan and headed out to capture our first night together in SIN CITY.

Perfect way to finish off a great night of shooting.

For the second part of their engagement shoot we thought it would be a nice change to head out into the desert and go to the Valley of Fire. The valley derives its name from the red sandstone formations and the stark beauty of the Mojave Desert. Although we were left chasing the sun for most of this shoot, we still ended up with a ton of amazing shots in the desert.

We had such an amazing time with you guys! We can’t wait for your big day!!

SARA – BIO & MARKETING PICS

Okay, so I know it has been a long time since my last post (roughly 5 months). I have been so busy shooting and editing weddings this season that the blog has been put on the back burner. I apologize to all of those who have been asking for updates. Now that we are back on track, I promise to log at least one event a week.

Even though this is not a wedding post, I am extremely pleased to have my good friend Sara be my first posting back.

Sara is a Doctor of Medical Heilkunst and is in the process of launching her new website for wellbeing: Dynamic Medicine.. If you’re in the market for a healthy life absent of all symptoms, shoot her a line. She is incredible to work with: info@dynamicmedicine.ca

Sara and I got together to create a few images for her bio and marketing materials.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Sara’s fiance’ Shawn was kicking around so we had to get him in one. How cute are these two?

AMY & KEITH – LIBERTY VILLAGE ENGAGEMENT SHOOT

I have known Keith for quite some time from my days at Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge. Every week he would spin his dirty drum ‘n bass tunes over a tasty pint of Guiness. Oh, how things have changed….

I was elated when Keith and his beautiful fiance Amy called me for a consultation. They are two of the coolest, down-to-earth people I know and I am excited to shoot their wedding in a few weeks.

Here are some favorites from our Liberty Village engagement session. Feel free to leave comments and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog for updates and contests. This summer we are giving away a free Engagement/Love Session, with a bunch of other goodies, to one lucky couple (valued at over $1000). So sign up before it is too late.

These two are awesome!! This could have easily been a 10 picture spread.

I love this shot. It truly shows their love for one another.
