What better way to get over our jet-lag from our month long trip to India than to jump into the 2010 season with an incredible wedding.
This wedding was put together in no time by SAPNA weddings, and on short notice, we were happy to take part in Amitoj and Sundeep’s beautiful day.
The Ceremony was held in Punjab, India (unfortunately before we arrived), so here are some of my favorites from their reception at Versailles Convention Centre in Mississauga.

This East coast couple were incredible to shoot.
With winter starting to bear down on us, we managed to pick what is starting to look like the last warm day of the year.
Here are some of my favorites:

This beautiful couple met on a trip to Cuba some years back and although nothing ever heated up on that trip, they remained good friends. Until one day…
Here are some of my favorites from their e-shoot, feel free to leave a comment and subscribe to my blog.

One of the benefits to being a wedding photographer, is the travel.
Now I know Ottawa will never be confused with the beaches of Mexico or the quaint cobblestone paths of Paris but I never knew our capital was so beautiful. Andrew and Katie’s wedding gave me an opportunity to see more of this great province.
Here are a few shots from their big day, feel free to leave comments.
I’d love to hear from you.

I love the feel of this shot. Dress waiting to be worn.

Getting ready...

How cute are these guys?

I had a great time shooting Bryan and Liezel’s wedding, they are an incredible couple.
These two gave me total freedom to produce a mix of classic candid moments and art inspired creatives.

Don't mess with this bridal party!

Taking a moment to soak it all in.

Bridal party at Massey Hall.

Thanks to D. for second shooting.
While I was in Ottawa shooting Andrew and Katie’s wedding, I was lucky enough to also shoot Patti and Frank’s engagement session. Since we had a short amount of time together, we drove around the city with no planned destinations in mind. Instead, we stopped to shoot wherever and whenever we found inspiration. Sometimes I find this is the best way to test your creative eye.
Patti and Frank, you are a gorgeous couple and I look forward to shooting your wedding next year! Enjoy some of my favourites, and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog for updates and contests.

The beautiful couple.

With the sun coming down and very little in the way of flower beds, we stumbled upon this incredible patch and got the shot!

I love how this image showcases their city.

This shot was taken while precariously hanging off a tree on the bank of the river. Definitely worth it!
Hanan contacted me to do her engagement shoot in preparation for their wedding in Calgary next year.
We split their session into 2 segments and shot them during Jamals visit from the Praries.

Here’s a sneak peek at Karen and Sandro’s engagement shoot…

Viviane and Darren really wanted a diverse range of shots for their e-shoot, so we decided to split their session up into two parts. The
first session focused on the natural environment and the colours of Autumn. The second shoot, to be done in February, will be spotlighting the urban aspects of our city.
Here are a few pictures from their first session, and I look forward to number two, come February.

Autumn afternoon in High Park.

Mr. Parker...

I was intrigued when Theresa contacted me to do a Trash the Dress session. I had never done one before and was excited with all the possibilities.
She was awesome to work with and was up for anything.
Thanks for a great time Theresa!

This is me easing into the 'trashing' segment.

This is probably my favorite shot. Theresa looks awesome!
